We know how important good health is and how it could affect a person’s life when it is neglected.
A lot of the rural communities in Ghana currently have no, or in some cases only one, Community Healthcare Center serving an entire resident population of about 20000. Doctor to patient ratio is usually 1:10000. Limited resources continue to create barriers to quality healthcare for the communities. As part of our annual goals, ANUA is seeking support from our angels to provide medical supplies, beds, and diagnostic equipment to improve healthcare delivery for the communities. Your support will also help us to hire nurse practitioners on a temporary basis to offer periodic healthcare screening for the residents on disease prevention and awareness practices. The goal is to improve the health conditions and the average life expectancy (currently 60 men and 69 women) in the deprived communities. As our long-term plan, your support will help us to redevelop dilapidated building structures or build new community healthcare centers to improve the growing healthcare needs of the vulnerable in our rural communities.
